Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole recipe
As good as it sounds—a bacon cheeseburger in easy casserole form! Instead of fries on the side, you get golden brown potato nuggets on top.

I have made this several times since discovering it on your website. It's easy to make and tastes great!!!!
i found it tasty and so did my family but it seemed to lack something. just not sure what...
Very good. Only difference I would make the next time is instead of layering everything, I would mix it all together except the tater tots. I'd still put them on top. It was like a bite of hamburger, a bite of cheese. I think it would be better all mixed together. But overall very yummy!
Very Good meal! I added Worcester sauce and extra mustard and ketchup to the meat.I used shredded American instead of cheddar. Next time, I'm going to use Onion rings instead of Tater tots and I served crescent rolls with it. Delish!
My husband and I both loved this dish. Tater tots were on sale too!
I'm only giving this 4 stars because we all didn't like it. I thought it was delicious. I doubled the ketchup and topped with additional cheese after removing from the oven.
Not crazy about tater tots.
I am always looking for recipes that are fast but taste great. Or something I can prepare and heat through later. I sometimes don't get off work until 6:00 I found this and thought I will try it, i can throw it together earlier in the day and heat through after work. IT'S SO GOOD. My husband who is VERY picky loved it! he had 2 servings and on top of that, he warmed it up the next day and he NEVER warms up food. It was so good and so easy. I spiced up my hamburger a little more with our favorite spices but you wouldn't even have to. Try it!
We really liked this, but it doesn't make very much, so next time I will double it. Here's are my tweaks, cut up the bacon before cooking then browned in a pan, drained most of the bacon grease, but left some and added the ground meat and onions to that. Added a little Worchester sauce to the ground meat when browning, mixed in some cheese to the meat mixture after baking, I added a little dill pickle relish since I love pickles on my burger :)
I added tomato, lettuce and salsa on top when I pulled this out of the oven. It made the meal so much tastier than just plain! My family loved it and I have a picky 3 year old!
