What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) spice cake mix

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

can (15 oz.) pumpkin

1/4

cup oil

eggs

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/4

cup butter, softened

tsp. vanilla

pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar

1-1/2

tsp. ground cinnamon

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT first 5 ingredients with mixer until blended; spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.

BAKE 20 to 22 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min.; remove from pans. Cool completely.

BEAT cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in sugar. Blend in cinnamon. Spread over cupcakes.

These are ridiculously good. Everytime I make them someone thanks me. Don't skimp on the ingredients for the frosting - its the star of the show. Use real butter and I use premium cinnamon.

Absolutely LOVE this recipe. I make these for my friends and family. My boyfriend, son, and I can't resist them and I have to make a second batch. I also make them in my jumbo muffin pan :)

Everyone LOVED this recipe! I made it to the specifications and the only thing I noticed is that they frosting was really rich so you don't need a lot on each one. Because of that, I ended up with a lot of extra frosting. I froze it and I'll use it next time I make this or with pumpkin bread.

These are delicious and were a huge hit at my friend's pre-Thanksgiving party! I'll definitely make them again - probably for my family's Thanksgiving day celebration. The icing tastes amazing!

the cupcake was DELICIOUS and so moist and practically perfect. That part was easy breezy to make too! Icing was a little too rich for my taste, and was hard to make with a hand-mixer (powdered sugar everywhere) but I assume it would be easier with a standing one.
