This wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. There is just way too much liquid in this recipe. I only used 1 can of broth and it was still way to watery for chili. I let it sit for an hour on warm with the top off and thickened it up a bit. Honestly, it just tasted like pulled pork with beans mixed in. If I want pulled pork, I'll just make pulled pork. If I want chili, ill just make chili. My husband wasn't a big fan either. I won't make this one again.
I used dry beans, boiled for two minutes. Then let them cook with the other ingredients. Delicious.
i made this for the 1st time last year! we all loved it! i loved that its thick like....not like soup. i dont have to dig around my bowl to find meat or beans. it was easy enough to put together...and now that its getting cool again ill be busting out my crock pot for this baby!
I followed this recipe exactly and left it in the slow cooker for 8 hours. There was no flavour, and it ended up like a soup! WIll not make again ...
Both my husband and I loved this chili, we made it exactly as the recipe said, i'm not into spicy so it was perfect, i'll definetely make it again. it was so filling that i only ate 1 bowl, we made corn bread to go with it.
When I heated leftovers up, I put tortilla chips in the bowl first like someone else suggested, then I added some pico de gallo on top with the sour cream-YUMMY! I might make it again actually, add less broth and more beans. It has a mexican twist on it, like it!
Great for left over pulled pork. I served mine with cooked multi grain rice.
I really like chili and pulled pork. This recipe is a brilliant combo of the two. Served it at a football party and didn't have any leftovers. I added more seasonings since my group likes spicy foods. I would make this again.
I loved this recipe. I added a can of corn, drained and one of the cans of tomatoes included green chiles. Other than that, it was very easy and not too many ingredients. I will definitely make it again!!
It had a lot of meat for me but my boyfriend loved it. I added some extra seasoning to it but I will be making it again.
