Melting Snowmen Cookie Balls recipe
The cookie hats. The piped icing faces. The white chocolate that looks like melting snow. These snowman cookie balls are (almost) too cute to eat!

I thought these turned out great! I made the melting snowmen with the oreo truffle recipe and made the nutter butter one with milk chocolate instead of white. Both taste great! The snowmen look so cute! The only problem I had was some oreo specs in the white chocolate for only about the last 3-4 balls. But you can't even see it in the final product.
These were so cute and fun to make. The original recipe had 1/4cup peanut butter mixed into the white chocolate I thought that sounded strange so I put it in the cookie mixture, it turned out wonderful!
Not to beat a dead horse, but even w/out the peanut butter they're still not as white as the picture (at least mine weren't). Regardless, they taste fantastic. Very rich, great combination, if you like the taste of chocolate and peanut butter you'll love this. Fairly simple to make too.
I was victim to brown snowmen too but I made light of it. Since I am in Florida I decided to take advantage of the error and called them sandmen. So the I took half of each batch into work and they were a big hit!
i messed up and bought a bag of chips.. one store brand and one the big name.. dont cut corners, buy the big name!!! the first half came out perfect, 2nd half came out like globs of snow.. LOL!!!
These look amazing. Going to try at our holiday party this year!
I just wanted to let everyone know that adding the peanut butter to the white chocolate coating tastes delicious! I know it turns the colour to an off-white but if you add white food colouring to the chocolate it will turn white again! don't have to alter the recipe by omitting the PB. You can buy white food colouring at Michael's in the cake baking section. It's made by Wilton. A few drops goes a long way! Great recipe!
These were awesome and very easy to make.
Planning to make this recipe for christmas for church kids
when you add the peanut butter it changes the color and the chocolate is not white!!I omitted the peanut butter and just dipped them in melted white chocolate. otherwise they are delicious. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ Thank you for letting us know the problem with the color of the chocolate mixture. The peanut butter was not supposed to be in this recipe. We are working on removing it. We appreciate you taking the time to post this comment. >>>
