Greasy, heavy, not terribly flavorful.
This is a great recipe!! Very filling and something like comfort food. I ran out of time and could not slow cook it, but threw it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 2 hours. The chicken and potatoes were tender and very tasty. Look forward to making it again!

I already had the ingredients in the crockpot before I read the reviews. I already seasoned the meat with s&p but not the veg so they were a bit bland. When it was cooked I had a lot of liquid in the pot so I added a can of cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese (I didnt have any velveeta) and the Worcester sauce it came out quite tasty. I cooked it on low for 8 hours.
I made this, but read the comments first, so I tweaked it. I used a red pepper instead of green, added an onion and about 8 mushrooms. I used the thighs but next time would used cut up breast. I really liked it :)
Made this recipe, however it just wasn't a hit.
This was so good I really enjoyed this it was easy. I did add some spices to it because without it the meal would have been bland. But over all my family loved it and anything with cheese my granddaughter is all for it so I will be making this again real soon
I rarely rate a recipe, but had to let everyone know to not waste your time or money with this one! It is plain awful! Very off-tasting, totally bland and all runny! A total mess! Bad tasting! Everything just drowned in the water runny bland sauce!
Some changes I made was to add a Chopped onion and add shredded cheddar mid-way through cooking.Then just spoon onto serving platter and serve.
I thought the recipe was ok. It was lacking something. If I make it again, I will change the whole recipe by coating the chicken in ranch seasoning and adding cheddar cheese, onions, and bacon to it. Omit the bell pepper and veleveetah.
