Slow-Cooker Cheesy Chicken & Potatoes recipe

While you've been out, this cozy mix of chicken and potatoes has been simmering away, getting more tender and flavorful. The cheesy 5-minute sauce tops things off.

What You Need

large green pepper, chopped

lb. red potatoes (about 3), very thinly sliced

tsp. paprika

small bone-in chicken thighs (2 lb.), skin removed

can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup

1/4

lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/4

cup chopped fresh parsley

Make It

PLACE peppers in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; top with potatoes. Sprinkle paprika over chicken. Place 4 thighs in slow cooker; cover with soup and remaining thighs. Cover with lid.

COOK on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).

USE slotted spoon to transfer chicken and vegetables to platter; cover to keep warm. Set slow cooker on HIGH heat. Add VELVEETA and Worcestershire sauce to reserved liquid in slow cooker; stir. Cover with lid; cook 5 min. Stir until VELVEETA is completely melted and sauce is well blended. Spoon over chicken and vegetables; top with parsley.

No where NEAR enough liquid!! I put this in my slow cooker on low & went out for the day. When I got home less than 7 hours later, it was a burned dried up nasty mess. Threw thew the whole thing out & ordered pizza. Never again.

My family LOVED IT! Definately a keeper and the nice thing about this is you can tweek it to suit your flavor buds that day. I may try adding some "hot" to it next time.

Pretty good, easy recipe. I used chicken tenderloin instead of thighs. I thought the chicken was a little bland, definitely would add some seasoning to the chicken before cooking. Other than a little seasoning, it tasted pretty good and was real easy to make.

Absolutely fabulous!! My husband loved it. I added some garlic salt. Quick and easy.

Extremely dry chicken, plain nasty flavor. Family said it tastes like chicken-flavored baby powder. First recipe I really couldn't stand to even eat. We landed up throwing it all out. Sad. I do not recommend trying this.

I read a lot of reviews and was worry about it being bland. Instead of paprika I used salt, pepper, and original chicken seasoning. We loved it. My 9 year old wasn't a fan of the green peppers so next time I would do half. But this will be made again.

I loved this recipe! The only thing I did different was use chicken tenderloins instead of chicken thighs, and I added black pepper. I loved coming home to this ready to eat without hardly any effort! Tasted great and had lots of flavor! Everyone loved it! This is a keeper!

Made as described, except used boneless skinless breasts. End result was totally flavorless. Ended up dicing the chicken, added seasoned salt, minced onion and smoked paprika and garlic to the sauce. Simmered everything and it was edible. Not great.

I loved it!!! I did not use green pepper instead I used jalapenos !!!! It was awesome!!!!
