I love chocolate and cherries and was so excited to try this recipe. The flavor is good, but the texture was weird, like rubbery pudding. They don't just pop out of the cups, I had to dig most out with a spoon, which then tore the soft texture. Might be better as a pudding, or in a candy or crumb coated cup to hold it together.

I was not a fan of this recipe. My husband enjoyed it but I told him I will not make it again :( It tasted like chocolate covered cherries so if you like chocolate covered cherries you will like this recipe. It was not for me. Enjoy to all who like it.

very easy (I used mini muffin pan) and tasted good. only problem was that the cherries didn't stick. Just sat in indent on the top. Anyone else have this problem?

This recipe is unique & I think improved upon to make it a super star. Here's how I changed it & everyone who tried both versions thought the overhaul was MUCH better. 1) Make the jello as described on the box with the full amount of hot water. BUT...2) Substitute the amount of cold water with the evaporated milk/chocolate mixture. I chose to mold this jello,so after chilling in the fridge for 1.5 hrs, I dumped in 1&1/2 cups of rinsed and well drained marichino cherries. Stems off. If you decide to mold your jello; make sure you mix it in one bowl and mold it in a separate bowl that has been sprayed with Pam for easy removal.

This is a different kind of dessert. The texture is unusual, but good. The cherry on top really makes it! They make for a pretty dessert but not sure it was a hit with everyone. My husband thought they tasted better the second day.

My son & I made these for Thanksgiving. They were great and enjoyed by all. I was even asked for the recipe. I substituted 6 tbls. chocolate chips instead of the baking chocolate - next time I will use 4 tbls. instead. Also used mini-muffin cups sprayed w Pam and put the cherry in the center and spooned the gelatin sauce around/over the cherries. Tasted exactly like chocolate covered cherries. Made 18 mini muffin tin desserts.

Wish they had told you how much to put in each cup-I ended up using about a tablespoon per cup. I did have some trouble chopping up the chocolate, other than that, a simple recipe to make. I do advise that you make sure you spray the cups with non-stick spray as recommended, also that you give the cups longer than the second 20 minutes to firm up before serving. Then, use a butter knife to help release them. I made these for Thanksgiving, they do taste good and were enjoyed by my family! Will make again.

This was made for T-giving desert. Everyone, and I mean everyone, agreed that this was horrible. Something is obviously missing in the instructions. Tasted like rubber.

This was frustrating at first because my microwave kept overheating my chocolate and evaporated milk but once I melted the chocolate on the stove it was soo good. This is very yummy and very easy if you do it on the stove! I would make this one again

This is the worst thing I have ever tasted! I was hoping to take these to my Thanksgiving party with my family, but after trying one I threw them all away. I couldn't take more than one bite, it was too awful =(
