What You Need

1-1/2

cups whole wheat blend penne pasta, uncooked

cups broccoli florets

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1/4

cup finely chopped onions

tub (10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Reduced Fat Savory Garlic Cooking Creme

1/3

cup milk

cup KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

slices cooked bacon, crumbled

Make It

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min.; drain.

MEANWHILE, cook and stir chicken and onions in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 7 to 8 min. or until done. Add cooking creme and milk; cook and stir 2 min. Add Cheddar; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until melted.

DRAIN pasta mixture. Add to chicken mixture; stir to evenly coat. Top with bacon.

Serve with a crisp, mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing to round out the meal.

Substitute

Substitute your favorite frozen vegetables or vegetable blend for the broccoli.

Just finished preparing and eating this, it was good. Switched up a bit though. I used skim milk, only half a tub of the cooking creme, omitted the bacon, 2% cheese, and added more broccoli. I also added some parmesan. It was very good, only negative is that it seemed to be missing something, so I added a bit of cayenne pepper, nice pop of spice. Will def. make this again.

This is to high in calories and fat to be a dinner choice for me. It is my main reason for not using most of the "new" cooking sauces.

i made this for my family and we all loved it! my friend stopped in and really enjoyed it and wanted to take some for her lunch the next day at work :) i added a can of cream of chicken.

I added salt, pepper, sauted onions in coconut oil, no cheese and used Italian Cream instead. YUM YUM!!!!

When I made this recipe I also added an 8oz jar of sliced mushrooms, and a can of dream of mushroom soup. EXCELLENT Recipe.
