Creamy Pesto-Stuffed Shells

You can't go wrong with Parm, ricotta and mozzarella. And when you add creamy, smooth Philly to the mix, oh my. These tender jumbo shells are what you've been looking for.

What You Need

jumbo pasta shells, uncooked

lb. lean ground beef

small onion, chopped

tub (10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Creamy Pesto Cooking Creme, divided

cup POLLY-O Natural Part Skim Ricotta Cheese

cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA, divided

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

cups spaghetti sauce, divided

Tbsp. milk

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

COOK shells as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown beef with onions in large skillet; drain. Remove from heat. Stir in 3/4 cup cooking creme, ricotta, 1/2 cup mozzarella and Parmesan.

DRAIN shells; stuff with meat mixture. Spread 1 cup sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; top with shells and remaining sauce. Cover.

BAKE 25 min. Mix remaining cooking creme and milk; drizzle over shells. Top with remaining mozzarella. Bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

To simplify this instead of stuffing large shells, I used medium shells and just mixed them into the meat mixture then layered with the sauces as directed. Found that my Parmesan was moldy so skipped it and didn't miss it. Used cream instead of milk as it was what I had on hand. Loved this and will make it again!

Absolutely delicious!!!!!! Big hit with the family, easy to make and did I mention ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! I added baby spinach leaves with the meat mix :)

Excellent, easy recipe. Takes a little time, but well worth it. I added extra garlic because you can never have too much garlic with pasta dishes.
