Fun and easy to make with my kids! They loved them without frosting, but a little too sweet for me. Of course ours did not look as pretty as picture, most ended up layed (the kids dropped batter) but colors did not bleed, we used four flavors.

I made these cupcakes tonight and will never make them again. The picture is so cute, but mine fell in, the outside was too crunchy. I actually made two pans of them, because I was making them for my students. Wasted the whole evening and the cost of two cake mixes, 3 boxes of jello, frosting, and Easter cupcake liners. So frustrating!!

The cupcakes had a great flavor due to the jello that was used in the mix. I could have used food coloring to achieve the tie dye effect but the cupcakes would not have the great flavor that they had by using jello in the cake mix.

I used cool-whip for the frosting sprinkled with the left over jello and froze them. Everybody, kids and adults, loved them. Some people asked if they could have two.

I had no problem making these, however, they taste horrible. They look neat so I would advise to just use food coloring instead of jell-o mixes.

I made these using Canola Oil (by mistake) and I used Allwhites egg whites...they came out EXCELLENT!!!

The jello made the cupcakes rubbery and they didn't rise. Sorry but not a good recipe.

Would work much better if the cupcakes were made from scratch and not a box cake mix. You can find an easy recipe for white cake mix anywhere on line and it would taste better too. Stop using cake mixes people!!
