EXCELLENT!!!! I have 4 picky eaters in my house and they all LOVED it. Only thing I changed was added mushrooms to gravy and topped with shredded mozzerella cheese close to finish. Oh and made oven roasted potatoes insteadof mmashed called for.

My boyfriend and I love this! Also awesome because I'm new to cooking, and it wasn't too hard, and is so yummy! I've already made this several times, and it is a regular at our house. Didn't use the chives, and used extra gravy because we love gravy, and skipped over the mashed potatoes directions, and just made mine the way I usually do, but followed the rest of the recipe. Definitely worth trying :)

Too much sour cream!! My husband liked this recipe, but we both agree it would be much better with plan old mashed potatoes. Leave the sour cream out.

The Salisbury steak was very yummy. I only used 1lb and there was plenty of meat for 6 patties. Because I used less meat, I also reduced the stuffing mix, judging by eye.(I used all the season in the package and took out some bread crumbs) We weren't a fan of these potatoes, so next time I'll follow the box directions or use real pots.

The Salisbury Steak was awesome, super easy to make and taste great....however I did make the instant potatoes as directed just to try them. I will not be making those again, they had little taste to them, my kids thought they tasted like cardboard, to make this meal perfect I would make real potatoes or just follow the directions on the box of instant!

My husband begs me to make this at least once a month. It has quickly become a family favorite.

When I made this, I screwed up. I didn't read through the cooking instructions before I went to the store. I tried to save money and got an envelope of gravy mix rather than the jar. Didn't realize you had to add it to the beef. Since I didn't have enough, i turned it into a meatloaf. Put in loaf pan and cook at 375* for an hour and 15 minutes. Pour gravy over afterwards. It's a lot easier to make it this way than patting it all out. Turned out great. Tastes great too.
