Never again. What a mess. I'm an advanced baker and this recipe was a nightmare. Cake comes out so moist that it just sticks to everything. One of my layers ended up in crumbs so I had to make it a 3 layer cake instead of 4 layers. Frosting is too heavy, had to add milk to thin it out so that it would frost properly and then it picked up every single chocolate crumb because the cake was too moist. Chocolate top was way too runny and just made a bigger sloppy mess. Taste is okay if you like sweet, sweet, sweet. After trying it with 6 of us, we threw the rest in the trash.

This is one of the most delicious cakes ever! When I saw the picture of the cake in a Dollar General store, I knew I had to make it. While mine was not as pretty as the picture, the taste more than made up for it! I will definitely make it again

This cake is the best, most moist cake, I have ever made and I hardly ever use a cake mix,I made White chocolate frosting, it was to sooo good with the chocolate cake, I carried the cake to church, and for Christmas I made 4 more for friends ,who wanted it for their dinner, and gave the recipe to several people

I usually am requested to bring some of my delicious Trifles for holiday parties but this year I made a pumpkin Trifle along with this Tuxedo Cake. It was easy to make and very attractive to look at. EVERYONE ATE THE CAKE and none of the Trifle...stating this cake was so moist and absolutely DELICIOUS! My husband turned around an asked me to fix one for his office Christmas lunch!

This was incredible! But not that easy for me too frost. Mine looked nothing like the picture sadly. I did have all the layers, but it's never easy for me too frost a cake especially white on chocolate..ack! Frosting was delicious though....I wasn't that impressed with ganache, I would probably use my other recipe next time. If you like sweet desserts, don't pass this up...worth the work. I was told it was one of my best desserts, and I am known for making lots of desserts....

I love this cake. I made this cake for Thanksgiving Dinner and everyone just loved it, so much so that I had to make another cake three days later. This cake was really easy to make just remember to let everything cool completely.
