Wow! I am surprised to read some of these negative reviews! This cake was so easy to make and was dee-LISH! I agree that the frosting was a bit sweet, given the amount of powdered sugar, but that can be adjusted.
As to the reviewer that had her frosting turn out "tan", if you use clear vanilla instead of traditional brown, your icings will be pure white.
Also, I added 4 oz. melted white chocolate to my icing and topped the cake with fresh strawberries to garnish. It was a HIT for my moms 80th birthday!
Will definately do this one again!
