Very, very good. Hubby and I enjoyed them very much. Quick and easy to make. Will put these in my recipe rotation.
delicious authentic taste
loved it and very easy
Such an easy recipe and so very good!!! I discovered that if you don't use a well dampened paper towel and they are not heated enough, they will split. The second time I used a paper towel that was slightly wet and heated them in two sections so that the bottom of the stack of tortillas don't dry out and cool off, they were very easy to roll and not a single one split. Thought I'd share the info for those that prefer corn tortillas! I think I'll try the flour ones next time as a change. This is definitely a family favorite meal!
I added cream (mexican crema)to the green chili sauce, made it that much better. I also used flour tortillas, everyone loved it!
Made this and it was awesome. I'm not an Enchilada fan because of the red sauce, but the Verde recipe was so good. I too used flour shells and added cheese to the chicken. Can never have enough cheese. I used Kraft Pepper Jack Cheese on the top, Yummy. Enough for left overs the next day. I will make this again. Did have to really hunt down the Verde Recipe Makers, but was worth the hunt.
The kids and I loved this meal. It is now my 11 year old granddaughter's favorite dinner to make. We will definitely be keeping this stocked in the cupboards.
Great product, would make again. Had to try a couple stores to find this flavor of Recipe Makers. Used white corn tortillas, made sure paper towels were very damp for warming and had no issues with cracking. Not too spicy, just the right amount of flavor. Husband is very particular about Mexican dishes and loved this one.
This enchilada dinner was very good. Easy to make when you don't have a lot of time to prepare the real deal. I had the same problem with the corn torillas splitting but stuffed them, rolled them and baked--you would have never known. I will try flour tortillas next time. I highly recommend tryig this product if you haven't already.
Very filling as I only made 10 of the 12 and made each one a little bit bigger. Very easy to follow directions and easy to assemble. I too used the crockpot to cook the chicken and then shredded it as I took it out. A little bit spicier than I would normally eat but my husband loved it. Served with sour cream and Rice a roni Mexican rice.
