An interesting experiment. Thought it was a wonderful idea, but didn't come out tasting quite like I expected it to. Would I try this recipe again? Probably not. Maybe a variation, perhaps.

This weekend my husband will be leaving for Washington DC to spend aweek with his brother. My husband does this every other month. I spend acouple of days cooking and baking food for my husband to take with him, because I want them to have some home cooked meals. And enough to put up. I am always looking for new recipes and this one is just great. I am going to make one the way the recipe call for, then Iam going to make one without the jam and instead use walnuts. I hope it comes out as well. Thank you so much for the easy recipe and I am so sure the guys will enjoy it.

I made this recipe using my frozen homemade strawberry preserves. Because we just smash the berrys and only a tiny bit of honey and lemon juice its more of a spread than jelly. It was just right for my whole family.(not too sweet). The only thing I would do differently next time...make a double batch because they went so fast! This one is definitely a keeper!!!

It sounds great. I'm going to make this for my husband. I love brownies but never thought of adding peanutbutter and jelly.

I love anything with peanut butter, so this recipe was a real winner. Easy to make and loved by the peanut butter fans in my family.

Sounds great - but presence of peanut product precludes inclusion in child's school lunch. School allows no nut products. Make for home consumption only.
