I've made this MANY times and it's always a home run!!! I use sweetened frozen berries in a tub and just carefully drain out the liquid and have never had a problem with it being runny,just make sure use the correct amount of milk in the pudding-3 1/2 cups-not 4...this is a perfect summertime pie-no baking!

I read the reviews before I made this and I only used about 2 cups of 2% milk instead of the recipe amount. I have made this twice in the past two weeks, once with strawberries and the second with peaches. Amazing! Lasts about a day in my house. Worth a try!

I tried this recipe twice & each time it just ran. I thought because I used generic pudding the 1st time I would use Jello brand the second time...but same results....will not make again...

We loved this dessert and very easy to make. I used double the crust per others suggestions and made a graham cracker crust instead of the vanilla wafers. It wasn't as crisp of a crust as I like, but my husband said it was good just the way it was. I lightened up using light margarine, low-fat cream cheese, light whipped topping and sugar free vanilla pudding. Excellent.

Wonderful dessert. I would definately double the crust - Way to thin otherwise. I like both the vanilla wafers & the graham crackers. I used sugar free pudding & sugar free cool whip. Made it more diabetic friendly.

Before I made this, I read all the reviews and took the best advice from all. I doubled the crust and used graham crackers rather than the wafers. I doubled the cream cheese but kept the Cool Whip at 4 ozs. I used smaller pieces of strawberries and blotted them dry before adding to the dish. I had a firm crust, more cheese filling, drier fruit and it was a hit for Easter dinner! Thanks for the recipe and the reviews!

I have been making this recipe for years. I have made it with bananas instead of the strawberries and loved it. I usually use a graham cracker crust but have also made it using a chocolate graham cracker crust. Delicious!
