I first found this recipe over 25 years ago, when I first got married. Still making it to this day

I've been making this for YEARS,although I use a graham cracker crust.I also use 2 different berries, depends on my mood,or what's in season.Usually make it for the 4th of July, using strawberries& blueberries for our "All American Berry Pie".

Okay, so I didn't have enough graham crackers or cream cheese to make this EXACT recipe; so here's my variation...I made a pretzel crust! I used 2 cups of crushed pretzels, 4 tbsp. sugar, and 1 1/2 sticks of melted margarine. I then baked the crust at 350' for about 10 minutes. While the crust cooled...I made my filling. Instead of doing layers, I whisked 8 oz. of sour cream, 1 small Instant Vanilla Pudding (IN POWDER FORM) and 1 tub of thawed cool whip - it makes a cheesecake type filling - YUM!!! Once my crust was cool, I layered with sliced strawberries and then topped with my cheesecake filling. DELICIOUS AND EASY!!!!

This is a delicious, easy light dessert that I have gotten rave reviews on everywhere I've taken it. For even more convenience, I half the filling/berries/topping and use a store bought round graham cracker crust.

Everyone LOVED it! I made it with lemon pudding instead and it was refreshing. This is definitely a keeper!!

Loved this dessert! I made it with fresh peachs.. I also had the problem of it being runny but I used a off brand pudding. I'm going to try it agian with strawberries and white chocolate Jello brand pudding. Had lots of compliments even if it didn't look so pretty.
