I did not have very good success with the liquid sure.jell (certo).I have tried it on two different occasions and both times it did not set-up like it does with the regular sure.jell.

My 15 year old son will eat as much of this as I make. When the freezer jam is gone, he isn't interested in store bought jam or jelly. The fruit just tastes fresher!

Have used this recipe many times and always successful. Would like to have recipe that uses less sugar and more part sugar substitute.

To keep the jam from being too loose, I used the juice from the Strawberries that were defrosted and crushed INSTEAD OF WATER to mix with the pectin that was being boiled. The jam came out stiff like jelly....yum! AND, it was extra Strawberry-licious!
