This is very good. I have about 10 jars in my freezer. I found a good deal on strawberries this summer and bought a bunch just to make this freezer jam. My whole family loves it.

I thought this recipe was my grandma's. After she passed I asked my Mom for the recipe and she told me it was on the Sure Jell box. This jam taste like eating fresh picked strawberries. You will never want anything else. One suggestion for the runny or separtation issues. Stir pectin/strawberries for an extra couple of minutes. I wonder if Sure Jell paid grandma for her recipe:)

My grandchildren love the strawberry freezer jam! I'm very careful to measure everything but have found if strawberries are really ripe, the jam is runny. There must be some way to fix this. From your test kitchen, what do you suggest? I really need to know so that when I open a jar that is "runny" I could do something to keep the jam from dripping off toast or p & j sandwich!

Delicious but too runny. I made it 3 times exactly as directed and is very runny. It's very good on ice cream for a sundae.

LOVED IT!! Very easy to make and kept fresh in the freezer. I liked the strawberry pieces still in it. I would try this with other berries or mixed berries too!
