We were very disappointed in this recipe because the dough did not roll out, so we could not cut out the shapes. Also, there is not much taste to the cookies.

I, too, have looked for this after losing it. I roll the dough into a 2 inch long roll, refrigerate. When ready to bake roll in different colored sugar to coat the sides then slice fairly thin and bake. layer in a tin with waxed paper, or paper doilys between layers and freeze...for any time you need a treat. We love them because they're not too sweet! Thanks for the recipe again...I won't lose this time ...it's on a disk!

Do not use fat free cream cheese! Tastes like Bisquick!

This recipe is great. I made an error the first time making it & used the low fat cream cheese, but after I used the regular they were great! I especially like them with a little glaze & colored sugar sprinkes. I made 4 batches of these in one week for holiday events & they were gone fast!

Even after chilling overnight, I still couldn't get these to roll out very easily for use with cookie cutters.

I used a little less cream cheese in this, and it came out a lot better. This is a great cookie for the holidays, and is always different than any of the cookies everyone else brings :)
