I love these cookies but lost the recipe, so glad I was able to find it again!
I threw out the recipe and the cookies. They were terrible.
Made them with my daughter and her friends. So easy and so delicious, the cream cheese really makes this special! The girls ages 6 & 7 loved cutting out their own cookies and decorating them. We will be making them again for Valentines day, then St. Patricks day, Easter, etc....
My niece and I made this recipe this year and loved it! The cookies turned out so good. There was little challenge with them being to sticky and sticking to the rolling pin, but we took msdawn627's advice and just added more flour to the rolling pin! Our family loved them and so did Santa!
Okay, I was intrigued by the cream cheese in the sugar cookies. The cookies actually ended up tasting good, but the preparation process was somewhat difficult. The dough was WAY TOO moist and sticky despite proper measurements, liberal use of flour, and ample refrigerator time. Ended up frustrating me and my 4-year old son. Finished these cookies alone using a lot of flour and constantly putting dough back in fridge. I'll look for new sugar cookie recipes.
My 10, 7, 5, 3 year old children and I made this recipe. The dough didn't have much flavor to it, but it cut out cookies wonderfully! We had to use a lot of flour on the counter top because our dough was sticky and "wet" after the refridgeration period but our overall cookies turned out PERFECT. I'm not much of a baker at all, but whipped up a powedered sugar, butter and milk frosting and let the kids decorate. This recipe made A LOT of cookies! We will definately be making these next year.
I've made this cookie for the last several years and it has always been a hit! For those who have a problem with the dough sticking to your counter or rolling pin, just use more flour. These cookies are not too sweet and they taste really great.
The dough was too sticky and the cookies tasted like flour. I would not make this recipe again and do not recommend it.
Dough was very hard to managage, even though I chilled it longer, but it just kept sticking to my rolling pin and counter. The cookies taste okay, I will probably try another recipe next time.
These cookies are a hit, very easy to make and everyone will ENJOY them.
