Summer holidays: Good for picnics, not so great for baking. Avoid heating up the kitchen by combining Jell-O Gelatin, cake and berries for a truly patriotic treat.

A wonderful light and refreshing dessert on a hot 4th of July. I love it with the cream cheese variation.

Everyone loved this dessert. It was gone before I could have seconds! Very yummy, and easy to make.

This Flag Cake is absolutely the best, and very easy/fun to make. I make it almost every 4th of July now, but have made it at other times also for my husband and myself. I use the Sara Lee pound cake, it is yummy. The only bad thing is that I can eat the whole thing by myself, but I guess that is ok as it does have fruit in it. :-) I highly recommend this Flag Cake!

I make this every 4th of July! The best tasting dessert for a hot summer day. I have also used vanilla pudding instead of Jello. YUM! I layered it with pound & marble cake, vanilla pudding, fruit (fresh strawberries & blue berries) Cool Whip! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!

I made this cake last week for church and trust me there was nothing left. I think I'll make two next year to take. And of course I made it again today for our own family 4th get together this evening. I just made a few changes. I made it with sugar free strawberry Jello and also used lite cool whip, it tasted awsome and everyone loved it because it was low fat and virtually no sugar added... thanks Kraft!

My kids request this cake every year! They absolutely love it. It is so easy to make and it is delicious!

I have made this every year w/o fail. In fact my family requests to have it for desert. This dish is so easy and fun to make. You have to try it for yourself and you will see what I mean. Happy 4th!!

I found that if you let the two packets of jello get cold then add another it works good. I also used dewberries that we had in the freezer from that season instead of the blue berries to save money.
