This salad is very good. Of course, you can add other ingredients. For instance - red, yellow or green bell peppers, zuchinni squash, etc. I did not cook the broccoli. The dressing acts as a marinade while in the frig and softens the broccoli just enough. I like a bit of a crunch in my veggies.

Friends and Family Love this! I have made it many times, and always get rave reviews! I have added shrimp.crab, and chicken to it as well. With or without the meat it's ALWAYS a hit!

This an excellent side dish. To make it the main entree I add left over chopped turkey/and or chopped ham. Sometimes I also had a few hard boiled eggs.

I make this recipe just like this. I also add Salad Supreme by McCormicks to the Pasta while it is hot and it just adds a different twist. I love this because you can add all kinds of vegetables and with the FF Italian Dressing it just makes it more delicious.

I have been making this recipe since I first found it in a Kraft magazine ad years ago - maybe 10 years? The original recipe also called for crumbled bacon. I increase the amount of grated parmesan cheese, and I sometimes add freshly shredded parmesan cheese. This has become one of my summertime, often-requested signature dishes. Without the bacon, it makes a wonderful meal for my vegetarian friends.

I also add small cubes of my favorite cheese, sometimes cheddar, sometimes mozzarella, sometimes montery jack. All are wonderful and add a little extra protein. Some cubes of cooked chicken make it into a main dish salad!

I've made this recipe a couple of times and my guests always enjoy it. I used the Kraft Roasted Red Pepper Italian dressing instead of regular Italian and it was delicious! I also added green peppers and cucumbers. Yum!!!

Always a quick favorite. I add lots of fresh garden zuchinni, (always plentiful in the summer!), pepperoni, and fresh sliced mushrooms. I never serve as a side dish but as a meal itself!
