I also did a spin off of this. I used shell noodles, brocoli, and grape tomatoes. But for the dressing part I mixed some miracle whip, ranch dressing packet, some sour cream, parmesan , and pepper... Loved the mix of flavors. Vegetable Parmesan Pepper Pasta salad!!! MMMMMM!!! And another realitive made a similar pasta salad ... but My version was the first to go!! Hers sat on the table all night!!!! An empty dish speaks for itself!!

We have been making this for years, and it is a family and Pot Luck favorite. I use cucumbers instead of broccoli, and I add red onion and shredded cheese as well. I cannot wait to try this with the broccoli though!!

I didn't make this EXACT recipe, but close! Actually, I've been making my own spin for years. I use the tri-colored rotini for visual pleasure for my daughter, and instead of olives I add chicpeas. My whole family loves it and it the leftovers are just as good!

I agree with other reviews. You can add so many vegetable and cheese variations. A simple, simply fabulous salad.

USED YOUR KRAFT RANCH DRESSING WITH SOME KRAFT MAYO...ALL MIXED UP AND EVERYONE WENT WILD. CANNOT BUY ANYTHING THAT GOOD. YOU CAN DO SO MUCH WITH THIS BASIC RECIPE.

I went to a family reunion and someone made this and it went over so well that I had to make it myself. My whole family loves it. I can actually get them to eat veggies with this one!

Can also be made with cheese-filled tortellini and substitute 1/2'd Cherry tomatoes with whole Grape tomatoes. Great because it can be made a day before a party and the flavors seep into the pasta.
