Cheesy Football

Cheesy Football recipe

What's more welcome at a game-day party than a cheese ball? A cheese ball that looks like it belongs in the game, of course. Three cheeses team up for some serious yum.

Really very yummy cheeseball and not hard to make. First time for me to make a cheeseball and it was easier than I thought it would be.

Great spread and super easy. I made it minutes before game time, which helped it hold up it's football shape better because the cream cheese was still a little stiff.

I had a cold, so I couldn't get the full taste of this, but I was told it was good. It did make a very large football - better for large crowd (not just 4 people!).

I took this to a pre-game Super Bowl party, and everyone loved it. They all just stood around the platter and ate and ate! Several of the women asked for the recipe.

I made this for a friend who loves football. She not only chuckled but ate it heartily.

Big hit! I'm asked to make this for every get together. Last Halloween, I shaped it like a pumpkin & used carrot shavings for the stripes & a short celery stick for the stem! This time I think I'll add some shredded pepper jack cheese for extra kick!

This was my first time making any kind of cheeseball and it turned out fantastic. Everyone at my Superbowl party and at work wanted the recipe. I used string cheese instead of pimentos for the laces and it turned out really well. I highly recommend this recipe!
