I also made this for Super Bowl and plan on doing so again this year. It looks great and tastes even better!

we have a nut allergy in our family, so i used bacon bits to coat the cheese ball in, other wise it was great, we loved it.

A terrific recipe - this was a huge hit at my New Year's Eve Party the other night! Many were looking for a second "football". Next time, I will make two!

Half was gone within minutes. I would recommend a more sturdy cracker than the Ritz, though. I had a few comments that the outer nut layer could have been different, but I haven't seen any good alternatives. Had family fighting over who got to take the leftovers home, so this is definitely a Super Bowl staple!

Excellent! Best cheeseball recipe I've tried! I did add 1-2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce in place of the pepper.

This cheese ball was practically gone before Maggie's party started.......... No one could leave it alone after they tasted it served with Ritz crackers.
