I first made this cheeseball a couple of years ago for a family gathering. Everyone loved it! (And also surprised that I could make something that didn't come out of a box.) Every year since it's my job to bring the "big cheeseball" to all the family gatherings.

Three people at the Superbowl party said it was the best cheese ball they've ever had! It was very hard getting it into a football shape though, but once you do, it tastes great! I used roasted red bell peppers for the laces and served with crackers and roasted garlic. The roasted garlic was a hit too!

I took this to a superbowl party without making a one in advance to test and it was a hit with everyone. I received a lot of compliments! Everyone said this was a great tasting Cheesy Football!
