Three-Bean Barbecue

Three-Bean Barbecue recipe
Crumbled bacon and barbecue sauce lend smoky flavor to three types of canned beans in this tasty side-dish casserole. Serve it at your next cookout.

These are the best baked beans I have ever had. I actually cooked them on a grill and they were fabulous.

Very good recipe! Instead of the bacon I used about 1 pound of ground hamburger and threw in about a half cup or so of Brown sugar. Also used regular mustard instead of the dry mustard. It turned out pretty tasty! Makeing again for 4th of July potluck!

I have used a very similar recipe in the past. Adding 1/2 pound of sausage really adds flavor.

If you want to make a substitution for the butter beans, try GREEN BEANS. It's also nice to mix it up by adding some CAJUN SPICES. It's a great side dish.

My family loved the Three-Bean Barbecue. I did not care for the butter beans. I am probabaly going to substitute them for one more can of pork and beans.

I made with bacon bits and white kidney beans in place of butter beans (could not find??) was great and everyone loved it!! Also I put it all in crock pot and let it simmer for about 2 hours before serving. Saved time and energy!!!

I made this for my husband because I don't like beans. He really enjoyed it. Although he didn't like the butter beans in it. So next time I am just going to use extra baked beans instead.
