This is a great recipe that tastes great every time I make it. I don't think the pork chops need to be in as long as it says because they get tough. Just be sure the pork is cooked and the apples are soft. Terrific every time!!

the family loved it. i only had room in the pan for 4 chops without overlapping though. i also used splenda instead of sugar for the apples and it was great. i used gala apples since that's what i had on hand, but i think it would be better with a tarter apple like granny smith next time. easy and yummy!

This is a great variation to the traditional marinated or bbq pork chop. It's a nice, healthy meal that tastes great! I use sugar substitute in place of the sugar (I've made it both ways... and no one, and I mean NO ONE has known it!!!) and save tons of calories. I agree to broast it for a few minutes before serving though, to get the sogginess out of the bottom of the chop. Great recipe.

I liked the idea of this recipe and the overall flavor was good but my apples and pork chops were a bit soggy cooking it this way. I may try it with the apple mixture on top next time. My son loved the apples. I would also use more apples. They "shrunk" in the cooking process.
