I enjoyed this recipe 100%. My husband liked the light apple flavor on the pork chops but thought the actual apples were a little to sweet for his taste.

My kids are big fruit eaters so this was great for my family of six! The coating was a little soggy so I stuck it under the broiler and it cripsed right up!

It took longer than 35 min to cook, Beware! for the pork chops not to be pink. I thought the coating on the chops was soggy too. The apples were okay but I think next time I will just stick with the healthier version and just bake the chops with no shake & bake and have some applesauce.

I thought the apples with pork was fabulous, my husband wasn't a big fan.

I've made this recipe a few times and it is delicious! The apple mixture does remind me of the filling of an apple pie though I didn't use as much sugar as the recipe called for (used about 1/4 cup)and I found it still to be nice and sweet. Very easy to make also.

I tried this when we had lots of apples from our trees. What to do with them and what to make with them. My husband raved. It was like having apple pie with out having to roll out the dough

Really good. It's like having chunky applesauce with your pork chops. I used 6 cups of Granny Smith apples. I think next time I will use 8 cups. They cook down a bit and I really think it's the apples that make this dish. You can't have enough apples!!!
