I have made this recipe using peanuts, and a mixture of red wine vinegar and Splenda. It is also very good made this way.

I love this salad. It's perfect for a quick lunch or a dinner side. The creamy sauce and the wonderful texture is amazingly complementary.

I would probably put some cauliflower in with the broccoli which is how I have eaten it before and I found out that the broccoli should be cut up smaller then I did before.

I have been making this for years... it is an old family reunion favorite. Only we use crumbled walnuts instead of the sunflower seeds, and Kraft Miracle Whip instead of the coleslaw dressing! YUMMY!

This is a great and very easy recipe. I also add a head of califlower to the recipe and add a little more dressing. This is great to use low fat dressing.

I get requests from my family and friends to make this salad. For the dressing I use Miracle Whip with some lemon juice and some sugar to taste. Everyone RAVES over it.
