I was making this salad at Christmas time and thought it needed some color so I added chopped plum tomatoes. I was a great hit.

My family normally won't eat broccoli so when I made this salad for Sunday dinner, I made only a small amount. I put it on the table while I finished getting things ready. By the time the rest of the meal was on the table the broccoli was all gone. The kids just kept eating it once they had tasted it. My husband loved it too.

It is very easy to make! I did change it a little. We don't care for raisins, so I left those out and added some cauliflower for color and a added taste. Everyone loved it.

I used dried cranberries instead of raisins, crumbled Virginia bacon and made my own dressing with mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Got raves from the church ladies.
