Garlic Smashed Potatoes recipe
Are smashed potatoes a little tastier than plain ol' mashed potatoes? They are when you add roasted garlic cream cheese spread!

I was unable to find roasted garlic cream cheese, so I substituted chive and onion and it was very good. I tried in the local Spartan store and Super Wal-Mart for the Roasted Garlic cream cheese, I am still looking. The potatoes were excellent using the clive and onion so I am sure that I would like the roasted garlic version

My parents and I all disliked this one. Not enough flavor and the consistency kind of made them stick to your mouth and hard to swallow.

Very good!! Peeling potatoes prior to cooking them is no longer even an option in my family. Everybody loves them with the skins!

I loved these but my boyfriend thought that they were missing something. We made these with chicken, it went together pretty well.

This was a very nice change in place of regular mashed potatoes. A great dish with baked chicken.

I have and will make "smashed" potatoes, but instead of flavored cream cheese, I substitute lightly sauted garlic and mix sour cream (proportionally to # of tater)into potato/garlic as I "smash" them

I replaced PHILADELPHIA Roasted Garlic Light Cream Cheese Spread with kraft cheese spread and added golden brown stired-fried finely chopped garlic. The smashed potatoes still ended up tasting GREAT!
