My kids kind of liked them. My husband and I both tried one and didn't care for them
This recipe is fun for kids but also fun for adults. Great Recipe!! Love It!!
I'm going to try this recipe because we love popsicles & ice cream bars in my house but I do not see the need for the additional sugar! The jell-o is sweet enough on it's own... I will be using the sugar-free kind anyway.
Kids Love it
Very easy and impressive. Every kid on our block wanted at least two of them, and then the parents got in on it. They were gone before I had the chance to have anything except a lick from my daughters. It was good!
These popsicles were fabulous and festive. The creaminess of the cool whip with the popsicle made it unbelievably good. My sister and I made these last summer for our 4th of July party. We had a lot of little kids attend, so we used small bathroom size dixie cups instead of the larger cups. It made a ton of popsicles and the kids, and adults, loved them!!
these were great. they will surely be a 4th of july treat every year. my kids love them and when they were gone they asked for more but im saving them for a special treat only on the 4th. the cool whip did float to the top but i think that's cause i didnt wait long enough for the bottom cool whip to freeze. you have to follow the directions to the letter. dosnt matter tho they still taste great!!!! a real hit craft, good job!!!!!
I made these in 3 oz. dixie cups, so they are perfect for my little ones. My husband and 3 year old think they are awesome, but my 1 1/2 year old would probably be happier if it was just frozen Cool Whip on a stick. She just digs all the Cool Whip out with her fingers before eating the rest of the popsicle. You can imagine the mess that makes!!! :)
Once they start melting they get messy with the little ones. But other than that they were a hit!!
