Sassy Potato Corn Chowder

Sassy Potato Corn Chowder recipe
This Potato Corn Chowder has every reason to be sassy, if not downright arrogant. It's yummy, easy, quick-to-make and a better-for-you choice, too.

Very Good! Added Emeril's Essence as well as minced garlic. Need to double this recipe for more than 3 when used as a meal.
I really enjoyed this soup as well as my family but I made a few changes. I didn't have miracle whip so I used sour cream, I used carrots instead of celery, plus I doubled the recipe except for the last three ingredients. I puréed half of the soup so it wasn't too chunky, the potatoes thickened the soup nicely. My kids weren't too keen on having the bacon in the soup so I used it just as a garnish.
This corn chowder is awesome! I've never made any kind of chowder before but I thought I'd try today. I changed a few things though. I doubled the recipe, I used a whole yellow onion, 2 cans of cream corn instead of the frozen, and I put in a whole pound of bacon, I also mixed 4 tablespoons of flower in with just a half a cup of the miracle whip dressing. I will defiantly be making this again soon!
This was ok, won't make again.
I absolutely love this recipe. I made it many times already and I use low fat ingridients that make it as flavorful as with fatty stuff. The next day it's even more delicious!!
YUM! I don't like Miracle Whip, but still loved this chowder. Even my picky kids loved it! Can't wait to make again, it was super easy (& I don't like to cook at all!)
Terrific flavor and texture.
Made this for an extended family gathering. Everyone raved about it. An easy and delicious soup
very good. my husband had two big bowls the first time I made it. Yummy!
i intended to follow this recipe, but because we're snowed in, i had to adjust for ingredients on hand and it turned out simply delicious! i used an entire package of turkey bacon. then i used some butter to brown some chopped onion AND garlic. thickened it with a little flour to make roux then added 2 cans of chicken broth. used five potatoes. whole milk. less miracle whip, couple of spoon fulls and lots of fresh ground black pepper. same idea, but it made more so we can have it tomorrow too! very very good!!
