Sassy Potato Corn Chowder

Sassy Potato Corn Chowder recipe
This Potato Corn Chowder has every reason to be sassy, if not downright arrogant. It's yummy, easy, quick-to-make and a better-for-you choice, too.

This looked like it would be good, but I was VERY disappointed! It may have been potato corn chowder, but it was definitely NOT sassy. Too much Miracle Whip flavor, and even after adding cheese, garlic powder, and hot sauce it was still very bland. Normally, I love the recipes from Kraft but this one was a big bummer. I must have very different taste buds from the majority of the reviewers - I can't believe this recipe's gotten nearly 5 stars!

I wasn't too fond of the corn in the chowder, but it was still delicious. I am making it again, but this time omitting the corn. It will be perfect this time.

I hope you like Miracle Whip, because it is about like eating spoon after spoon of it! The other ingredients blend well together, but there needs to be a different base! Ick!

We did not like the sweet taste the Miracle whip gave. I will make again but I am going to try a can of Cream of mushroom soup.

Just made this for dinner last night. I doubled the bacon and used a can of corn plus a can of creamed corn. (We like bacon and corn.) My family ate it all. My son pronounced it the best bacon soup he's ever had.

What a great recipe. The only change I made was to use canned corn (drained) instead of frozen. I thought the flavor was just right and didn't require any extra seasoning. Super for those on a salt free diet! Since others have said it is better the second day I can't imagine how much better it can be! Will definitely be making it again and taking it to church functions.
