Italian Meatloaf

What You Need

cup dry bread crumbs

1/4

cup milk

lb. ground beef

can (8 oz.) tomato sauce or ketchup, divided

3/4

cup finely chopped celery

env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

egg, lightly beaten

Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Country white bread

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix bread crumbs and milk in large bowl. Add meat, half of the tomato sauce and the remaining ingredients; mix until well blended.

SHAPE meat mixture into oval loaf in shallow baking pan.

BAKE 1 hour. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over meatloaf. Bake an additional 20 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked through.

To thaw ground beef safely, keep the meat wrapped and thaw it in the refrigerator -- not on the countertop. Store on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator to prevent any drippings from cross-contaminating other foods. Use thawed meat within 2 days.

Very easy and super good. I made it with out the onions and celery. I added about a T. of Worcestershire sauce.

What a great dish! First time making meatloaf at all. I used the ketchup in mine. And I didnt use the celery but I am sure it would have been wonderful with it. This was the best I've ever tasted. The family just loved it! I would recommend making more than serving for family. They will want seconds!

Best meatloaf I've ever had. My boyfriend told me he didn't like meatloaf until I made this. This is a pretty high recommendation because he is an extremely picky eater! =)

Yes the meatloaf was moist and all, but i could have done it with out the celery.

It was an awesome recipe! My husband and I were shocked!The meatloaf wasn't even dry and we tasted so good we didn't have to add more ketups to it when eating.
