THIS RECIPE HAS BEEN IN MY FAMILY FOR YEARS. WE HAVE CHANGED IT TO PECANS IN THE CRUST AND INSTEAD OF VANILLA PUDDING WE HAVE USED THE FUDGE PUDDING OR DEVILS CHOCOLATE OR WHITE CHOCOLATE. STILL A GREAT DESSERT AND WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE FOR YEARS TO COME!!!

My uncle used to make a high fat, high sugar version of this and I loved it. Now I am diabetic and this is sooooooo satisfying! I used Splenda instead of the powdered sugar, but other than that followed the recipe exactly.

The crust was too crumbly and overall the taste was too bland!

I have made this recipe several times and with many, many variations. When making for the kids school functions, I have to make 2. One for school, one for home. It is my boyfriend's favorite dessert, and he doesn't usually eat sweets. For diabetics, substitute sweetner for sugar, and use sugar free pudding and cool whip.

I already had this recipe and have made it many times and with different variations, I have used vanilla pudding and added coconut to it and garnished the top with toasted coconut, delicious, also with bananas between layers so many different ways to make this .....I also garnish the chocolate with nuts

My family has been making this for a long time and we use Graham Crackers (crushed) mixed with butter for the crust which taste just as great.
