These were fantastic! My hubby and his brother ate nearly the entire pan the day I made them. I also used chocolate chips on top instead of the chunks and it turned out great. I will definately make these again....tomorrow in fact.

this recipe is an excellent one! The brownies were so moist and soft. I don't like hard brownies and these hit the spot for the chocoholic in me.

My family doesn't want any other type of brownie - this is the only recipe they want me to use! They fly off the plate! I can't seem to ever make enough!

I make this recipe without the chocolate and sometimes will replace it with raspberry chocolate chips.

I have also made this recipe for decades as a previous rater said - it was included in a Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cookbook- and it has always been a hit. Chocolate chips or chocolate chunks work equally well, as does any recipe for cake-like brownies. My daughter remembers it from when I made it for her grammer school parties, and she is now a mother with her own child. This is a classic.

I think the quality of this recipie absolutely depends on what type of brownie mix you use. I used a bargain generic mix to save money and they weren't that good. The topping part was excellent but the brownie itself suffered for my frugality. Next time I will try it with a better mix and I would definitely suggest the same for others trying this one.

so simple to make and they were a big hit with the whole family. I used chocolate chips instead of chuncks and they turned out great.
