I switched it up a bit, and now my husband asks me to make this ONCE a week. I brown a pound of meat with pepper, onion salt, and some cajun seasoning. Then I strain out the grease & add about 2.5 cups water. I get two of the pre-seasoned packets of spanish rice (that cost about 50 cents in the store) add those in & 1.5 packets of taco seasoning. I let it cook covered under the rice is almost done & then I add in a cup of cheese. Once its finished cooking hubbs tops it with lettuce, more cheese & hot sauce. MMM MMM...
