This recipe was EXCELLENT!!! Not only was it easy to make, but it was light and flavorful. I made this for the book club meeting and all the ladies gave it two thumbs up. Also, I used Philadelphia Creme Cheese; not low fat or fat free. We wanted all the fat. LOL...

Looks great!! Could use pineapple for a hawaiian theme. I make the creme for fruit trays at family gatherings.

It was delicious but the Marshmallow Creme makes it off limits for anyone with a sugar problem maybe it could be made with whipped topping instead of the Marshmallow.

For the cook who used Fat Free CC--that is what caused your problem. You can use Light but not Fat Free. You also need to be sure you use Philadelphia brand. I have tried some recipes with the store's brand and they flopped. Even the good magazines like Bon Appetite say you have to use the Philadelphia cheese.

I used Fat-Free Philadelphia Cream Cheese for this recipe, and it would not thicken once mixed with the marshmellow creme! I made the recipe at 8:00 am and went to create the picture shown with the recipe at 6:00 pm and the cream cheese/marshmellow mixture was runny. I do not know if using fat-free cream cheese had anything to do with this problem, if anyone else has had this problem let me know...thanks! (Name is e-mail address)
