This is the same potato salad my mom always made and I have always made. Use Miracle Whip and chopped dill pickles and a small amount of the juice. I have never had a better potato salad.

I am 81 years old and this is the way I have always made potato salad, the same way my mother and grandmother made it. My daughter made it and complained that hers did not taste as good as mine. I asked her about the mayonaise she used and it was not Kraft Original. When she changed the mayonaise to Krafts in hers, made all the difference in the taste. In the south, we mix the salad while the potatoes are warm and it really becomes as one of my friends call it Mashed potato salad.

This IS my recipe...or the way I have made it for years. Sometimes if I don't have celery or celery salt, I omit. Also, if you like bell pepper, add some chopped to this salad. I also chop hamburger dill pickels instead of relish.

Sounds just like my potato salad recipe except i put in crumbled bacon. It gives it a salty crunchy taste.

I have made this potatoe salad for years the same way other then using sweet relish instead of the dill. Also, I do not add celery. I top the salad with paprika for eye appealing results. I usually make the salad for family gatherings as well for our friends. In fact, my friend wanted my receipe and complimented me that it was the best potatoe salad she had ever eaten. Thank you.

This is the potato salad of my youth with a slight variation. We always use Miracle whip and no relish. Very delish!!!

This is what my mother used to make except she didn't use a recipe. I sometimes add finely chopped green pepper and or carrots. It's really really good.

This is my basic recipe too, except that I add a few more ingredients ... chopped dill pickes AND sweet pickles. And if you're like me and like your potatoe salad a little more on the tangy/sweet side, I also add about 1/3 cup of Kraft's French dressing. If you add the French dressing, it's essential that you also leave in the mustard too! Mmmmmmm ...
