This is a great recipe, actually one that I have used for 20+years. When I use Miracle Whip, I also add a teaspoon of sugar. For extra added taste and color try chopping some sweet red or green peppers. This recipe has been used for all our family get-togethers and is requested by our church for all their dinners. They all love it!!! You will too.

This is the best recipe ever. I've been making it for over 20 yrs. The first time I saw it was on the back of a Miracle Whip jar label. Everyone loves it when I bring it along. You can dress it up with other ingredients also like bacon. This one is a generation to generation recipe!

For new cooks you should have included the type of potatoe. Red potatoes or( salad potatoes not found in this area) are best for salads

This is the only kind of potato salad that I serve. My mother received this recipe from her mother and in turn passed it on to me. I use Kraft Miracle Whip and sweet pickle relish when I make it. Every one raves about this recipe!!

I use Miracle Whip and add diced cucumbers and radishes to add a little more zip and this gives it a five star rating in our household.

Like another visitor, I too was always taught one egg or each potato. Thus, I increase the eggs too. For a change in taste and texture, omit the relish and add a half cup, each, of chopped fresh cukes & green peppers.

This is a very good recipe, but try it with chopped sweet pickle instead of dill pickle, you will be surprised. I make this potato salad in one hour.
