This is the only kind of potato salad that I serve. My mother received this recipe from her mother and in turn passed it on to me. I use Kraft Miracle Whip and sweet pickle relish when I make it. Every one raves about this recipe!!

I use Miracle Whip and add diced cucumbers and radishes to add a little more zip and this gives it a five star rating in our household.

Like another visitor, I too was always taught one egg or each potato. Thus, I increase the eggs too. For a change in taste and texture, omit the relish and add a half cup, each, of chopped fresh cukes & green peppers.

This is a very good recipe, but try it with chopped sweet pickle instead of dill pickle, you will be surprised. I make this potato salad in one hour.

Excellent. I have been making this same recipe for 56 years and my mother made it before me. I sometimes used chopped dill pickle instead of relish.

I was always told that you used one egg per potato, so I increased the number of eggs. Also, my family prefers sweet pickle relish. With these adjustments, I just loved this potato salad as did my family.
