The basic recipe for this potato salad is allright, however I find if you change the; Mayo for the New Olive Oil Mayo & increase to 3/4 cup. Add 2 more Eggs & rough chop them in. Take out the White Onion & add 6 Scallions cut 1/2 inch long. Remove the relish completely. Do this and you will truly have a traditional egg based potato salad.

I have made this nearly exact recipe for dozens of years. I use sweet pickle relish instead of the dill relish. There is never any left at our potlucks

I have made this over and over again and I get such raves everytime. One friend said he thought his mom made the best potatoe salad but not anymore.

Our family has been making this recipe for years. I'm 60 years old and I can't remember a different one. It's the best. Everyone asks for me to make it for picnics and for get togethers of one kind or another.

I use sweet salad cubes and leave out the mustard.

This is a recipe I learned from my mother and one that I've now been making for over 35 years. The only thing we do differently is substitute Kraft Miracle Whip for the mayo. We like the extra "zip" the Miracle Whip adds.

I have been making potato salad like this for over 50 years--same ingredients, except I use Miracle Whip instead of Mayo, and use sweet pickle relish instead of dill. My mother would be so proud that she taught me to make the Great American Potato Salad.

We've been making this potato salad recipe for years because it's always a hit. We double the ingredients (because everyone always wants to take a bowl home) and, being from New England, instead of adding the relish, we add 1/4 c. of Italian salad dressing. Yummy! Yummy!

This is the recipe my Mother and now I have used for years. My daughter uses it too. It is better than anyother Potato Salad Recipe that I know of.
