I have been making potato salad almost identical to this one for many years, however, I add 2-3 Tbs. of milk to thin the dressing. It keeps the potatoes from clumping. So good that my daughter-in-law uses it. That's a compliment to a mother-in-law.

This is the potato salad I grew up with. The treat for our family is to mix it with the potatoes still warm, and serve warm, the best! it is wonderful from th erefrigerator the next day too. We use sweet peppers and sweet pickle cubes in ours.

This is how I have made my potato salad for 40 years except I add chopped bell pepper and use sweet pickle relish (no celery). I also add a little sugar and apple cider vinegar to the dressing.

This is the same potato salad recipe I grew up with from my mother and grandmother. I love the flavors in this salad, especially the celery seed. It really is a superb potato salad.

I prefer Miracle Whip and either sweet pickle relish or chopped bread and butter pickles (homemade if available), but I've been making this for years!

I have not made this particular recipe with the relish but this is the way my mother always made it but instead of using real Kraft mayo and relish she used Kraft Miricle Whip and peas. Very tasty.

I am 71 years old and have made this exact potato salad for at least 57 years. Are all the old recipes being reincarnated?

Do you know the difference between a stalk and a rib of celery? Two stalks would make this recipe taste terrible.
