I have made this recipe for years and I add a little white vinegar (to taste) to it when adding the mayo and mustard. I made it without the mustard and vinegar once and no one ate it.

this is a good potato salad. However, If you want to make it better, Delete the mustard and add I large jar of diced pimentos to this recipe. Also add more eggs!

I use this recipe all the time, but add 2-3 strips of crumbled crisp bacon, and 1/4 cup of fried spam, and really adds a lot of flavor!

The CLASSIC Potato Salad - Combine 3/4 c. Miracle Whip, 1/2 tsp prep. mustard, 1/4 tsp. sugar, dash of salt & peper & 1/4 c. finely chopped onion w/ 4 c. cubed boiled red potatoes and 4 chopped boiled eggs. Allow potatoes & eggs to cool for firmness before mixing to coat. This is Classic Potato Salad circa. 1960s.

Yummy! My family always asks for this when they get to pick a favorite meal for a birthday celebration. My beautiful little mother-in-law (age 93) makes her potato salad with the same ingredients but adds a little milk to make it creamy. It's very good too!

My Mom taught me how to make this years ago. I add fresh bacon bits for extra flavor.
