The sauce wouldn't thicken as others wrote so next time I will reduce the half and half. I will also double the mushrooms (HUGE fan). I will make this again and probably add bacon.

We loved this and will definitely make it again! I topped it with bacon (one slice per serving). The sauce never seemed to thicken for me, but we served it as it was and it was delicious.

Per the direction of other reviews, I only used 1.5 cups of half and half. I ended up adding more cheese to aid the thickening of the sauce. All in all, this is an incredibly good recipe, and it's pretty cheap, too.

AMAZING!!!! I made this with fresh fettuccine, from the refrigerator section of the grocery store, baby bella mushrooms and excluded the onion. It was sooo delicious! I will absolutely make this again and again!!!

I loved this dish! I omitted the mushrooms (not a fan), caramelized the onions, and included the toasted walnuts. It was so good. Next time I think I'll use red onions instead of white. Will definitely make this again.

Love this! The ingredients all go together very well and it's easy to make. Just make sure that you don't let the sauce sit on very low heat for a long time because it will start to solidify. But it's very good!

Very tasty! I waited a long time for the sauce to thicken (and everything else cooled) and it never did; I plan to follow other cooks' suggestion to reduce the half-and-half next time.
