Triple-Layer Mud Pie

This player is created by Blackwell Team for testing.

What could be better than mud pie? Three layers of it. Dense chocolate and pecans topped with creamy pudding and COOL WHIP satisfy the tallest dessert order.

I made this recipe recently and it was a huge hit. It's the perfect blend of chocolatey goodness!

OMG I LOVE this stuff. I got this recipe in some sort of mailing a few years ago and it is one of my favorite desserts homemade or not. It is pretty darn easy and oh so good. I highly recommend this to anybody who loves chocolate. I don't like regular pie but this is a chocolate crust so I don't even have to worry about it.

A really nice combination of items. I especially love the layer of chocolate at the bottom. It became hard so there was a nice consistency at the bottom, rather than the crust getting soft from the pudding. I also used one package of chocolate pudding and one package of vanilla instead of two chocolate. Also used lite whipped topping instead of regular. Couldn't tell the difference - delicious!

We are all chocolate freaks at our house and this worked its magic. I thought it was simple to make especially the day before or early in the day. Great spring and summer recipe.

Easy to make and very delicious!

My only comment is maybe using a hot fudge that can be microwaved from the jar because it solidifies without getting hard like the chocolate mixture did.

This should be called quadruple layer pie. It was awesome, but don't eat too much or you will get a tummy ache. I left out the nuts. All chocolate yum!
