What You Need

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

1/4

cup canned sweetened condensed milk

OREO Pie Crust (6 oz.)

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans, toasted

pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups cold 2% milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

MIX chocolate and condensed milk; pour into crust. Sprinkle with nuts.

BEAT pudding mixes and 2% milk with whisk 2 min.; spoon 1-1/2 cups over nuts. Stir half the COOL WHIP into remaining pudding; spread over pudding layer in crust.

TOP with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 3 hours.

How to Toast Nuts

Heat oven to 350°F. Spread nuts in single layer in shallow pan. Bake 5 to 7 min. or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.

Variation

Prepare using BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, increasing the sweetened condensed milk to 1/2 cup and substituting PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts for the toasted pecans.

I made this with a brownie crust & baked it in a 9x13 casserole dish & took it to a couples bbq at the golf course. I received rave reviews from everyone.

My presentation wasn't brilliant, however it tasted good. I made the "Lite" version and it was still almost too sweet. It was indeed "Decadent".

THis was great. I made it once with Pecans and once with peanuts. I personally like the peanuts better, but both were outstanding.

I made this pie just because it was very good and very rich. My husband doesn't really go for sweets but I caught him on more than one occasion with his finger in the pudding!!
