What could be better than mud pie? Three layers of it. Dense chocolate and pecans topped with creamy pudding and COOL WHIP satisfy the tallest dessert order.

My husband loved this dessert, and he usually hates anything with pudding. I used lower fat ingredients and it still tastes very good, but a little rich. This is a wonderful recipe.

This pie was to die for! I made it for my girls' group and they absolutely loved it! I will definately make this again. Do be prepared though becuase this pie is so rich. A small slice is plenty!

This was extreamly rich, and very easy to make, and it didn't take alot of time.

This was good, but VERY sweet. I couldn't finish my slice, and I normally have a huge sweet tooth.

I make this recipe all the time - it is so easy and tastes so good, it never fails to WOW my guests - sometimes I even leave off the bottom layer and it still tastes wonderful; and sometimes I use different types of crusts, graham cracker, pastry crust, etc. - all are good - this is one of my favorite and mainstay dessert recipes - I love it!!!

Fantastic, Just REMEMBER, let the chocolate harden back up (after you have poured it over the crust and added the pecans) before you put the pudding filling in, otherwise it moves :) - learned that the hard way- Delicious recipe!

For such an easy pie to make it was very enjoyable. Not only is it enjoyable it was very fun to make. I do think that the Baking Chocolate should have been in actual square shapes instead of two rectangles put together. That was an embarrassing thing to figure out. LOL But other than that. Perfect pie. Very good.
